Bonnie Church CNC CLC

The Well-being Strategist

“I bust ruts. A rut is an ever-deepening pit created from thinking the same stupid thoughts, saying the same stupid words and doing the same stupid things over and over again. Ruts ruin our relationships, destroy our health, consume our wealth, deflate our self-confidence and extinguish our joy. We all fall into ruts. Sometimes we stay in them for hours, sometimes for years. My passion is help you discover the way of escape. I am probably good at it because I’ve had to escape a few in my time.”

Bonnie is a “certified rut-buster” She is certified in life coaching, nutritional consulting and TLS weight loss coaching. She is a contributing writer for the TLS Shape Up system and served on the Speakers Bureau for Market America, Inc. She currently writes the ‘Live Well’ column for All About Women Magazine. She is a successful entrepreneur who leverages the health, beauty and wealth creating tools offered through Market America Inc. to support others in their effort to live well.

Bonnie and her husband, Michael, enjoy life in the Blue Ridge Mountains with a couple of lovable mutts. They have been married for 40 years. Elizabeth Weber

The Success Mentor

Elizabeth is an entrepreneurial powerhouse. She is not only the top money earner for one of the fastest growing internet retailers in the world, Market America/, but she also currently ranks in the top 100 income earners in her industry. She loves working with committed people to develop the income they need to fulfill their purpose in life. She was raised with humble beginnings in Somerville, MA and worked hard as a legal secretary, which eventually earned her a position as Contract Administrator for the City of Boston Law Department.

The 9-5 world was too confining for Elizabeth, not to mention it fails for most people. She kept looking for a way out of that world and tried 9 networking marketing companies with little to no success. She didn’t give up and in 1992 she finally found Market America/ This business offered her the tools she needed to realize her dreams while fulfilling her purpose. It was the perfect fit. She quit her job of 18 years to start her business and within 5 months she was earning a six-figure income. Within five years that grew to seven figures, earning well over a million dollars per year residually, simply by helping others succeed. The beauty of this business is this; Elizabeth could create success in her life, by simply helping others create success in theirs. There is no better way to make a living and she continues to do just that having helped thousands realize their dreams during her 23 year tenure. Today, Elizabeth is a sought-after motivational and inspirational speaker and trainer for the global company.

Elizabeth currently lives in the Carolinas with the love of her life, Rick Walliser. Their blended family includes 5 amazing children, Bruce, Ashley, Morgan, Tristan and Skylar and one amazing granddaughter, Madison. Elizabeth’s success gave her the resources necessary to establish the Weber Foundation of Helping Hands, Inc., a non-profit public charity, that gives back to people in dire need. The foundation, founded in October, 2000, has provided financial support to hundreds faced with serious illnesses or catastrophic situations. She later expanded the foundation to provide support for our military troops. She was the recipient of the George Washington Medal of Honor for her continued help with the servicemen and women adversely affected by the war on terrorism.
Elizabeth is always challenging herself both mentally and physically having earned her black belt in Kempo Karate; completing the Boston Marathon and finishing the recent Lake Lure Triathlon in North Carolina.

Deborah Anderson

Deborah Anderson

The Recipe Woman

My passion for providing healthy meals for my family grew out of my own bout with illness. In 2002 I was diagnosed with MS. (Multiple Sclerosis.) At that time my children were 11 and 13. I was coaching and driving all over upstate New York to baseball and softball fields. I was too busy to be sick. I knew I had to take control of this disease before it took control of me.

In doing my research the common factor in keeping this MS and other auto Immune disease in check is eating anti-inflammatory foods and taking high quality anti-inflammatory supplements.

When I changed how I ate, my life changed.
I no longer needed to take toxic medications to control inflammation. I could do it with my food. The same things that keeps my auto-immune disease in check, will keep all of us looking and feeling younger, longer. (Who doesn’t want that?)

Wow! I get to share what I have learned along the way with the All Things Ageless readers: Healthy recipes and time-saving food prep tips. I hope you enjoy.

Dennis Franks

Dennis Franks

The Renaissance Guy

Dennis Franks currently lives in Greensboro with his charming wife, Nancy. They have two beautiful daughters, Lauren and Katie and an amazing, gorgeous [Just ask him!] grandchild, “Izzy”.

Dennis Franks, our Renaissance Guy, is not only very, very smart but he is also very, very talented. He will mentoring us on how to fulfill our life purpose, with passion.

We call him the Renaissance Guy for a reason. He has many gifts.

He is a gifted athlete. Dennis was awarded an athletic scholarship to the University of Michigan where he graduated with a major in Economics. Dennis started three years as an offensive center. He was awarded All Big Ten, three years and All American Honors his senior year.

Dennis joined the Philadelphia Eagles and played for 5 years. He captained the special teams and was named Most Valuable Player. Dennis and Vince Papali were friends. The movie, Invincible, tells the story of Vince's' rise to fame as the 'dark horse' of the Eagles. Dennis helped him become the legend he eventually became. [Rent the movie. It's good.]

Dennis finished his NFL career with the Detroit Lions where he captained the special teams and enjoyed building the Lions to a playoff contender!

Dennis is also a talented corporate executive and entrepreneur. For 33 years, Dennis has been an active participant in the direct sales and network marketing industry. He is one of the few to earn over one million dollars in commissions during a 12-month period and continues to break new records.

Dennis was invited to join the Corporate Team for Market America, Inc. in 1993. His unusual talent to work internally and externally in the networking industry makes him a valuable asset. Dennis helped craft the original Mall without Walls, The Preferred Customer Program, The TLS Weight Loss Solution and NutraMetrix Divisions. J.R. Ridinger, President of Market America, often refers to him as his Five Star General.

If that was not enough – he plays a mean guitar and he can sing too.

Francesca [aka Fran] our very own Mama Mangiamo ['Let's Eat!'] is Italian. Her parents are from the old country. Jacki Blasko

Jacki Blasko

Woman Extraordinaire

Jacki is a FUN-loving farm girl from Wisconsin who has also become a whimsical, whole-heartedly wonderful woman. She is a living love letter who will be sharing with us ways to make the people in our life [and the one in the mirror] feel great.

Her Heart BEEP philosophy, Belief ~ Enthusiasm ~ Effort ~ Persistence, has created her “lifestyle” and has influenced who she is and all that she does in life and in business. She believes that the only way to do great work is to love what you do!

She is dedicated to helping others through inspiration and authentic love. To accomplish this kind of love, she draws strength from her favorite verse, “Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely. Dwell on the fine and good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad!” It’s no surprise that many have followed Jacki’s lead.

Jacki received a degree in education and when she finished college, she taught Junior High School English and Literature. She polished her training over the past 41 years while building networks of people through Direct Sales and Network Marketing. She hasn’t stopped believing in people and loving everyone she meets. Her vocation is her vacation!

Jacki’s search for the “right” business was fueled by her desire to stay home to raise her two young children. The network marketing industry offered Jacki the income and flexibility she was looking for. Today she continues to work, driven to help moms and dads stay home and raise their children if they choose to.

Jacki, a multi-million dollar earner, has returned to her childhood farm in Wisconsin. There, she, her husband Dave and children have built the Becoming Inn which serves as a business training and Christian retreat center, dedicated to “building people” and becoming all God wants them to be. When Jacki isn’t supporting and training “business” she can be found loving on her 6 grand babies.

Jodi Cash

Coach Jodi

Training for life “involves far more than just time spent training, however. It is about eating the right food, getting enough sleep and making life decisions that support your dreams. “ David Galbraith

I don’t remember a time in my life that I wasn’t active…swimming, cycling, running, CrossFit… and just moving. Physical activity has always been an integral part of my health journey, and I just never questioned the value of it.

I studied biology at Washington and Lee University, with the intention of going into physical therapy or medical school; however, I was fortunate enough to spend a summer doing an internship at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and that summer changed everything. I decided to pursue my Masters in Exercise Science at Appalachian State University, researching the impact of exercise on immune function. At that time, I realized I wanted to focus on keeping people well, instead of treating them after they were already sick.

I accepted a job as the Director of the Wellness Center in Boone, NC and have had an awesome 21 years helping to improve the quality of life for the community in which I grew up. During that time, I’ve taught a variety of fitness classes, helped develop multi-disciplinary programs to transition people to wellness, and continued to follow my passion for guiding people to discover healthy lifestyles.

Through some unfortunate illnesses that my daughter had to endure, I realized that I was missing a very important piece of the puzzle as we have struggled to find the answers. I’ve always known the importance of a “healthy diet”, but I had truly underestimated the power of each individual’s unique healthy diet.

Now, don’t get me wrong…I realize that diet is only 1 of the many pieces of the puzzle, but it can be an integral part of the solution. I discovered the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and began a year-long certification to become a health coach. It was through this program that I feel like I found my new purpose, to guide people to ask the right questions and find the healthiest lifestyle for their own body. I love nothing more than coaching children and adults along their health journey and helping them achieve success with their goals.

After 21 years, I’m taking a leap of faith and pursuing this passion full-time by starting my own business, Jodi Cash Train 4 Life. After all, each one of us is “training” daily to be healthy enough to handle anything life throws at us.

Kam Parker

Kam Parker

Ageless Fitness Expert

Kam Parker, Certified Master Physical Fitness Specialist, The Cooper Institute of Aerobic Research: Owner, Operator The Fire Personal Training Studio, Asheville, North Carolina; A Personal Trainer for over 27 years who specializes in fitness, exercise protocol, and weight loss for individuals over 40.

Most personal trainers have had to overcome their own personal challenges. Kam has been fortunate to be healthy most of her life. At 15, Kam made some unusual decisions for a teenager. She gave up television, embraced nutrition and exercise and started telling her friends they needed to take vitamin supplements to stay healthy. At 19 she joined the U.S. Marine Corps. The demands of boot camp and military service solidified her dedication to physical fitness. Influenced by other health-conscious marines, she changed the way she ate based on Nathan Pritikin’s book, “Diet for Runners.” This book explained in simple terms, what other fitness greats like Kenneth Cooper and Dean Ornish would dedicate their lives to: “What you eat and how you live your life, can prevent a heart attack or give you one.” Now, as an internationally recognized, Health and Wellness Coach, she trainers other coaches, health care providers and personal trainers with the TLS Weight Loss Solution, an effective anti-aging wellness program for all ages and fitness levels. Currently, she coaches over 100 clients, and 90% of those are over 50!

A Military Background in Fitness

After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, Kam chose to continue her military adventure in the Coast Guard. This time bootcamp ended with Kam receiving seven awards including the highest graduation score, the best fitness score, and the award that meant the most to her: Most Supportive Recruit ~ an award given by her peers to the person that helped them the most to succeed during their boot camp experience. As Kam began her active duty, she continued to educate those around her on the benefits of eating healthy food and working out as a lifestyle. Her unit recognized her dedication to her community, and sent her to Kenneth Cooper’s Institute of Aerobic Research. There in Dallas, Texas, she became certified as a Physical Fitness Specialist and returned to develop and implement a corporate wellness program emphasizing a healthier smoke-free workplace.

Overcoming the Odds with Real Food and Exercise

To her surprise, in 2001, Kam experienced a cancer diagnosis of Melanoma. At the time her physician gave her FIVE years to live. She re-dedicated her life to teaching fitness and health to assist others in reaching their health goals and preventing this terrible disease. Fortunately, Kam has not had a re-occurrence, and now her prognosis is unknown, which she says means, “I may live forever!” On November 8th, 2009, Kam ran her first marathon, 26.2 miles in 3 hours and 51 minutes. Since then, she has ran 6 more marathons, and at 52 is currently training for The Marine Corps Marathon, her 8th. She is developing new “gaming” and “hack” style exercise programs to energize daily workouts with FUN, and to offer true “shortcuts” when needed! Kam encourages people to expand their belief in themselves, at 40,50, and 60 people feel like “it’s over..” and it’s NOT. There is mounting science, PROOF, you can achieve much more than you believe if you just get started and stick to it. Kam believes each of us needs a goal that is challenging enough to PULL us forward. Often people say they want to make a change, but their "why" isn't big enough to compel a change, and they hesitate. She encourages all of her clients to pick a "dream," a big "why" that will cause them to honor themselves with LOVE, CARE and self-respect!

Over 40, 50, 60 Fitness is worth it! YOU are important!

IF you can't think of a why, Kam reminds us that: "In all the universe, in all of time, past, present and future, you are a singular event. Never before and never again will YOU be, and therefore because YOU are unique in this world, you have an inherent value to all of us, our community, our nation, our world!" YOU are important and you deserve to feel your best, be happy and live the life you desire. She says, "Give yourself permission to be the best version of yourself starting right now!" Your age is no determination of the level of success you can achieve, your determination to succeed is the driving factor!

Kam wants you to know the pursuit of your best you, fit and lean, is the same lifestyle that decreases your chances of diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and most cancers. Yeah! Being healthy rocks! And Kam will be sharing how to integrate exercise into your everyday life.

Marion Edwards lives in the awe-inspiring mountains of North Carolina. That mountain air must be doing her good. At 73 she is as beautiful as ever.
This ageless woman stays busy too. She is an esthetician, a makeup artist and an entrepreneur. Marion writes a monthly beauty column for All About Women Magazine and is co-owner of a successful bridal makeup and hair company. In her spare time, she sings jazz and hangs out with her beautiful daughters, Leslynn and Kelly. [Rumor has it that at 70 years old, she won a Michael Jackson Dancing competition while cruising the Bahamas.] Yes, Marion is amazing.

Marions’ passion is to help women of all ages and all colors to optimize their beauty. She notes that most magazines do not reflect the 50+ woman, even when advertising anti-aging products. “There are only pockets of information around the issues related to the 50+ woman.” This has led to a crisis in understanding how to apply makeup. “Many women are still applying their makeup like they did at 30. The terrain of the face changes with time and so must the techniques for applying make-up.” Marion will be sharing with us the secrets of minimizing the appearance of age [at least the parts we don’t like!] with science-based skin care and high quality cosmetics.

The Hair Whisperer

I grew up with 4 sisters who were always in need of getting their hair done. I loved expressing my creativity through this art form. Over the years, my passion became my profession. I have owned several salons and managed many employees. Through my business I was introduced to a very special group of people - those facing cancer. It was hard to watch them deal with hair loss, changes in their skin and the effects the treatments took. In an effort to assist them, I took classes at the Harry Grey Cancer Center in Hartford CT.

To serve them more completely, I added a wig shop to my salon. This enabled me to guide them through the changes in their hair and skin. I also offered thoughts on health, nutrition and holistic approaches to dealing with cancer. It brought joy to serve them as well as sorrow. It was very hard to lose some to this terrible disease. My work led me to the opportunity to co-create, Beyond Cancer, a nationwide program offered through Connecticut Public Television. I did a segment on coping with hair loss [and the other changes cancer brings] through meditation, and gratitude.

As a beauty professional you share very special times with your clients; births, weddings, graduations, divorces and death. I cherish the intimate conversations and the lessons I learned from the people I served.
I am now retired from the beauty industry. I share a beautiful home with my loving husband Philip. I have 3 wonderful stepchildren and 5 gorgeous, talented granddaughters [so there are still plenty of opportunities to do hair]. I love time with my friends and family, long nature walks with my 3 rescued dogs, working in my garden, reading a good book (on nutrition) & vacationing with my husband. I look forward to sharing ways that you can look more beautiful as the days go by.

The Fashionista

Fashion trends change every season, and it is a challenge to stay on top of them. The fact is, looking good is not just about following trends. Fashion is a very personal matter.

I am a fashionista. I love color. I love design. I love style. For 16 years I played with color, design and style as an Interior Designer. That experience cultivated my sense of what looks good on me. My job is to keep you connected to the information you need to help you decide what looks good on YOU. I use a site called to research trends and shop brands. It not only provides hundreds of shopping options, but directs me to the best deals.

One of the reasons I want to look as good as I can is Joe, the love of my life. We have been married for 31 years. We enjoy travel, fine dining and just hanging out together. Though we never had children together, I am blessed to be a grandmother by marriage. Our granddaughter, Meghan, calls me “GG” which stands for gorgeous grandmother. I did not select that title, but plan on living up to it.
